Thus, with our debt to them so deep, all men should cry “Praise be for Sheep!”

A couple of weeks ago, the wooly weeders were out and about, munching on the delicious greens that grow between the vines. These beautiful sheep and lambs come to the property to help trim back our winter overgrowth. In a matter of days, what was once a wild field is now a picturesque and trim vineyard.

Rocky Mountain Wooly Weeders is an open range sheep herding company. This environment friendly mowing is perfect for Cline and Jacuzzi. After all, we work hard at keeping our land sustainable and following the Green String Institute’s methods of farming.

These sweet little lambs are East Friesian, and will go on to provide milk to local cheese makers. While they are devouring the grass, they also help to fertilize the ground. If we all left the land in as good of condition as these little guys, the whole world would be Green String approved.
